Janet is CEO of GlassEye Productions, a Digital Content and Video Production Agency based in Thomastown. GlassEye help organisations develop communication strategies and share their stories with the world. With 20 years media experience, Janet works with many of the most successful global brands in the world, with a particularly strong focus in Technology, Education and FinTech sectors.
As a member of Thomastown Community Network Janet is interested in leveraging the town’s many assets to develop a thriving business community and believes with the right supports SME’s in rural towns can thrive and compete on a global scale. She is also an advocate of the STEAM agenda and ‘Women in Technology’.

I have put my name forward for the local elections. Kilkenny LEADER Partnership is a very important part of Kilkenny. It has helped numerous small businesses, community groups, parishes and tourism.

My name is Margaret Whelan, I am from Graignamanagh and am firmly rooted in the Community and Voluntary Sector having spent most of my life working with a variety of committees and multiple projects. I have strategic project and managerial experience with a fervent ability to “get the job done”. I have vast experience in rural development, tourism, social enterprise, environmental and renewable energy development and broadband, but more importantly these are all areas I am passionate about and with my experience and input, we can really stand to regenerate our rural communities here in Kilkenny. Two words-“Community and Vision.
Pat is a native of Kilkenny having spent the last forty years working in Youth and Community Development in the City. He has a keen interest in Sport, particularly football and is a Committee member of Kilkenny and District Football league, the governing body of Football in Kilkenny County and surrounds.
He is the Chairperson of the Butts Community Savings Bank and the Butts Community Council, both organisation that were founded to increase the capacity , co-operation and unity of the Butts area, but have since expanded to include areas of the city and county.
Pat is actively involved as Secretary of the Men's Action Network, and organisation that brings friendship, social opportunities and advocacy services to elderly Men aged 50+ in Kilkenny City and County.
Richenda is a delegate for the South League Soccer Club.
